Job Overview Bank of America is seeking a Senior Full Stack Penetration Tester to join the Cyber Security Assurance Division. The role focuses on hunting high‑risk vulnerabilities across the bank’s global technology environment, leveraging advanced penetration testing techniques to identify and demonstrate exploitable threats. The position is a highly technical senior role that supports collaboration with security partners, CIO clients, and business lines. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform assessments of the bank’s technologies, applications, and cyber security controls. Conduct research, understand security policy, and work with partners to complete assessments. Identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities to achieve security impact. Report findings and associated risk to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Coordinate with senior leadership on development projects. Mentor junior engineers and assist with monitoring and response functions. Required Skills Minimum 5+ years of professional offensive security experience. Ability to critically examine an organization from a threat actor perspective and articulate risk clearly. Proficiency with common penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, nmap, etc.). Solid knowledge of voice and data networks, operating systems, active directory, and related peripherals. Understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with malicious activity and industry frameworks. Proficient in report delivery and technical documentation of vulnerabilities. Effective coding skills in a programming or scripting language (Python, Java, C#, etc.). Desirable Skills Certifications: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, OSED, OSEP, OSWE, OSCE, GWAPT. Experience in hardware hacking, embedded systems analysis, and IoT hacking. Previous experience in the financial industry. Ability to work remotely when necessary. Benefits Eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off and other resources to support employee well‑being. Compensation $160,000.00 – $205,000.00 annualized salary, with additional discretionary incentives based on overall performance.
