This role is part of the Rockstar Games Analytics team, which provides insights and actionable results to stakeholders across the organization, supporting decision making in game design, live operations, and player engagement at scale.
Responsibilities
Partner with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to understand analytical and ML needs and translate them into robust ML solutions.
Design and build end‑to‑end ML pipelines, including data preparation, feature engineering, training, and serving.
Develop, monitor, and optimize large‑scale ML systems and infrastructure that directly influence game design, live operations, and player engagement.
Push the boundaries of our ML and Data Science platform by spearheading cutting‑edge advancements in AI and Agentic frameworks.
Perform timely root‑cause analysis to troubleshoot model and data‑related issues, and assist in implementing code and process fixes.
Advise other verticals on designing and building reliable, scalable, and fit‑for‑purpose ML models.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience building ML systems in production.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
Strong software development skills and a passion for games, big data, and machine learning.
Proven track record in building, monitoring, and optimizing large‑scale ML solutions and infrastructure.
Experience with Databricks and Databricks MLflow.
Experience working with pipeline scheduling tools such as Airflow and Astronomer.
Production experience deploying Databricks Genie AI and other Databricks Agentic solutions.
