What this job involvesÂ
The Senior Project Manager, Facilities leads multiple facility maintenance, capital improvement and space optimization projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery that meets quality, schedule and budget expectations. This role oversees site construction activities, vendor performance, financial management and stakeholder communication. Success requires a blend of technical construction expertise, strong project leadership and exceptional client management capabilities.Â
Your day-to-day responsibilitiesÂ
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting and risk managementÂ
- Coordinate cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, vendors and contractors to achieve project objectivesÂ
- Â Implement project management best practices and methodologies to drive consistency and qualityÂ
- Support site teams with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout activitiesÂ
- Lead annual project creation, budgeting and scheduling for the client’s Capital PlanÂ
- Monitor project financials and budgets to ensure effective cost controlÂ
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, building occupants and senior leadershipÂ
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including RFP processes, contract negotiations and performance oversightÂ
- Implement quality control and assurance practices, including conducting regular project auditsÂ
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards and corporate policiesÂ
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management approaches, tools and methodologiesÂ
- Communicate project status, milestones and risks clearly and effectively to diverse audiencesÂ
- Collaborate with Client Real Estate, Finance and business leaders to align facility initiatives with organizational goalsÂ
RequirementsÂ
- 7–10 years of progressive facility management and project management experienceÂ
- Â Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detailÂ
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationshipsÂ
- Strong knowledge of construction project management, building codes and regulatory requirementsÂ
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyÂ
- Excellent financial and budget management skillsÂ
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship capabilitiesÂ
- Experience with quality assurance and construction risk managementÂ
- Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety and specialty construction such as clean rooms)Â
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, AdaptiveWork or similar tools)Â
Preferred qualificationsÂ
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldÂ
- PMP certification or other recognized project management credentialÂ
- Experience managing capital planning processesÂ
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologiesÂ
- Background in implementing facilities management best practicesÂ
- Strong experience in construction risk mitigation strategiesÂ
- Demonstrated history of process innovation and operational efficiency improvementsÂ
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facility management platformsÂ

Estimated compensation for this position:
150,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
