About the role We’re looking for a project manager with low-level software/driver software engineering experience in the United States. The PM plans and oversees LLS/driver design and development, balancing long-term product goals with short-term velocity. Experience with managing complex projects is required. The PM will be required to come into the office and travel occasionally to other locations. The PM is comfortable working under pressure and closely with both highly technical and non-technical teams. This role is on-site and will require the ideal candidate to be local to the Bay Area. On-site requirement is 3-4 days per week.
What you’ll do
Serving as the main internal contact for software engineering programs
Managing project schedules and deliverables
Coordinating global teams
Coordinate with other PMs
Identifying and mitigating risks
Reporting progress to stakeholders
Improving project management processes
Qualifications 5+ years experience with:
Graphics and rendering projects
Experience coordinating complex product development across teams globally
Experience communicating closely with engineers, executives, and other stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple complex conflicting priorities
Excellent presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Research projects (desired)
Familiarity with C/C++ (desired)
Compensation Range $190,000–$225,000 per year (California). This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role; the final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
