We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a major construction project in Sligo.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in construction project management.
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you'll gain exposure to every stage of project delivery, including site coordination, health & safety, BCAR, procurement, and project handover.
What You'll Do Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day delivery of the project Manage and maintain Health & Safety documentation for subcontractors and site teams Coordinate the ordering of materials, plant, and equipment Assist with BCAR documentation, O&M manuals, ancillary certificates, and project handover Prepare and submit weekly site returns and timesheets Support the Site Manager with setting out and general site coordination Assist with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), technical submittals, and quality documentation Coordinate snagging activities and support the close-out of project handovers Monitor material usage and support cost control initiatives Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is completed on time What We're Looking For Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline 2-3 years' experience in a Site Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Management role Good understanding of construction processes and site operations Knowledge of BCAR, Health & Safety documentation, and quality procedures is an advantage Strong organisational and communication skills Good IT skills with the ability to manage digital project documentation Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop a career in Project Management Experience working on construction projects in Ireland is desirable What You'll Get Company Pension Scheme Company Phone & Laptop Career progression into Project Management Ongoing training and professional development Exposure to large-scale construction projects Work with one of Ireland's leading construction firms Apply Interested in joining Conack?
