This role can be based out of the Cork, Waterford or Dublin office.
Role: Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and activity schedules using estimating software (e.g., CCS Candy).
Carry out detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Develop and issue subcontractor/supplier enquiry packages, evaluate quotations, and negotiate alignment with project requirements.
Identify and manage tender deliverables, providing input into project risk registers and commercial documentation.
Contribute to value engineering by developing innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, designers, and clients through meetings, site visits, and tender reviews.
Support project handovers by preparing robust commercial documents and ensuring alignment with execution teams.
Assist in developing standard estimating procedures and mentoring junior team members. xyswxtq
Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering/Construction Management or Similar Full Drivers Licence 7 years estimating experience on projects up to £25m Be able to complete civil take offs from first principles IT skills with Estimating Software A good understanding of the various forms of contract Salary Salary €80k
