The Work Radar Systems Engineering within RMS is seeking a candidate to support the design, integration, and test verification of high-performance radar systems.
The Radar Systems Engineer will:
Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary radar solutions.
Perform functional analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into radar system software specifications.
Develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance.
Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, government lab partners, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.
Automate repeatable tasks through the use of scripting languages.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM degree with a minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
Experience with C++ or equivalent object-oriented language, MATLAB, and scripting languages.
Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired Skills
Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing.
Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
Technical leadership experience with program execution.
Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Security Clearance This position requires a U.S. government security clearance. The required clearance level is SECRET. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Work Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Location: Camden, NJ.
Base salary range (New Jersey): 75000 – 135961.
