Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting dynamic teams that contribute to building a robust DevOps culture, enabling seamless and efficient software delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability. The role collaborates closely with developers, testers, system administrators, and other cross-functional teams to streamline development workflows and ensure the continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software applications. It also involves strategic planning, process optimization, team leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position is full‑time in the United States of America, with no shift premium, and is eligible for relocation assistance. Responsibilities
Take ownership and manage projects that enable continuous integration and automation of service integration, delivery, and deployments. Provide guidance to junior team members on all DevOps related practices and projects. Manage the organization’s continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency. Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management. Define DevOps goals and metrics across functional teams and the business. Seek understanding of customer and end‑user requirements and project KPIs. Create new processes for improvement and minimization of wastage. Actively engage with architects and developers, understanding the technology components of solutions and contributing to decision‑making. Report on progress to internal management and external customers. Represent the software DevOps team for all phases of larger and more complex projects. Education & Experience
Recommended: Four‑year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 10+ years of experience, preferably in software development, information technology, engineering environment, or a related field. Requires deep knowledge in DevOps cloud infrastructure and GitHub Enterprise Cloud, and an understanding of platform development, enhancements, maintenance, and compliance execution aligned with SOX requirements. The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
