About

Position Summary Staff Network Engineer in Woonsocket, RI. Responsibilities include implementing systems to protect sensitive data, maintaining operational integrity, ensuring compliance with network security standards, designing network strategies, coordinating with vendors, providing technical expertise, guiding stakeholders, generating performance reports, managing resources and budgets, consulting on projects, and leading the design and maintenance of scalable infrastructure.
Hybrid Work Arrangement Remote work permitted but must live within commuting distance of the designated office location and remain available to report to office as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in routing protocol configuration (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, policy‑based routing) and network design.
Experience with data center migration, Cisco ACI Fabric, Nexus dashboards, SDN, and network virtualization.
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration, security tools, patching, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), VTP, STP, EtherChannels, and network performance monitoring tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds.
Capability to provide redundancy solutions (HSRP, load sharing) and troubleshoot Layer‑1/2/3 issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation $172,370 – $260,590 per year. Salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
