About
As a Frontend Engineer at Loft, you will work on a range of projects, including refining the UI of Cockpit, our satellite operations software, and empowering end-users with powerful satellite management capabilities. You’ll collaborate with peers on the Frontend Engineering team, as well as interface with the wider Software team.
About this role:
Building and refining tools
for satellite operations and autopilot observability
Developing and maintaining
our web applications and services
Collaborating on UI/UX design
to enhance user experience (no need to be a designer, just care about good UX)
Integrating with backend services
using GraphQL APIs
Supporting internal teams
in using our ground software (Cockpit)
Getting hands-on with satellite operations —everyone at Loft plays a role in mission success!

Strong proficiency in
TypeScript / HTML / CSS
Experience with
Vue

(Unit and integration testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Cypress)
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Web Components
Experience with Mapping/Geospatial Libraries
– e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox, or CesiumJS (could be useful for visualizing satellite data)
Interest in Space or Aerospace
– No prior experience is required, but enthusiasm for space technology is a bonus!
UI/UX sensibility
