Assess current organizational practices and processes to identify opportunities for improvement as well as to provide direction toward those improvements. Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to continuously improve and expand upon them Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration Assist developers and engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including products, processes materials, manpower and time necessary Provide clear organizational as well as build and release management and engineering goals for all areas of a product or program and develop steps to oversee their timely execution Work closely with development and engineering professionals within the company to maintain infrastructure and software required for products to be continually delivered effectively Mentor and train other developers and engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide Work alongside product or program management team to successfully monitor and demonstrate progress and implementation of improvements and initiatives
