As a full-time remote Senior Cybersecurity Data Engineer, the successful candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Data Platform and Lakehouse Architecture, focusing on designing and optimizing a centralized data lakehouse ecosystem while ensuring compliance and governance standards are met. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of the enterprise Data Lake/Lakehouse ecosystem on AWS Define standards for storage formats, partition strategies, and data optimization to enhance performance and reduce costs Architect and enforce global data governance and security measures across the data platform
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data platform engineering or data architecture with a focus on large-scale enterprise data lakes Expertise in open-table formats such as Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake Advanced knowledge of AWS data stack, including AWS EMR, Athena, and Lake Formation Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK Strong understanding of modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or AWS Redshift
