Detailed Job Description:
Design, develop, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment processes Configured and managed GitLab runners (shared and self-hosted) across multiple environments Enhanced pipeline efficiency through performance tuning, caching strategies, and parallel job execution Integrated GitLab with enterprise tools such as SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, Terraform, Kubernetes, and JFROG. Led migration of existing on-prem GitLab pipelines to GitLab SaaS, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized workflows Implemented variable-driven deployment approaches to support scalable, multi-layer (multi-environment) deployments
Version Control & Branching Skills:
Manage source code using Git (GitLab repositories) Define and enforce branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development) Handle merge requests, code reviews, and access control Automation & Scripting Develop scripts using Bash, Python, or Shell Automate repetitive tasks for efficiency.
Tools & Technologies:
GitLab (CI/CD, Runners, Repositories) Docker, Kubernetes Jenkins (optional comparison experience) Nexus / Artifactory Scripting: Bash, Python
