About
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate X-ray and other radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance reports. Assist radiologists or physicians during specialized imaging procedures when required. Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Monitor and maintain radiologic supplies and report equipment malfunctions. Adhere to hospital or clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards in patient care.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent state licensure. Experience: 1-3 years of clinical radiography experience preferred Must be available Wednesday and Friday Strong attention to detail and patient care skills. Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and radiation safety Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment Good communication and teamwork abilities
