Emergency Radiologic Technologist Join our team to create positive experiences for patients, providers, and coworkers. Emergency Radiologic Technologists work as part of a health care team to provide critical information necessary in diagnosing patients of all ages by performing x-rays, computed tomography (CT) and laboratory studies for a variety of illnesses and injuries. Position will also be responsible for assisting clinical staff with other duties as assigned. Location: San Antonio, TX Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $37.00 to $39.00/Hour DOE plus night/weekend differentials The ideal candidate will have hospital experience in CT and X-Ray, preferably in Emergency Medicine. He/She will have excellent communication skills, self-discipline, and the knowledge to handle emergent radiology situations timely and with accuracy. Benefits:

Position Qualifications: Education:
Required: Associate Degree (two-year college or technical school) Required: Graduate of accredited School of Radiology
Experience:
Required: Minimum of one year as a practicing X-Ray and computed tomography technologist.
Computer Skills:
Required: Basic computer skills
Certification and Licenses:
Required: ARRT, BLS, Texas Radiologic Technologist License
Summary of Duties:

Works as part of a healthcare team to perform required patient interventions including radiological procedures, laboratory procedures, and assisting physicians and nurses with patient care. Provides consistent outstanding service to all patients, facility visitors, and team members. Produces high quality radiography by following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards/procedures, properly developing radiographs, observing radiographic results, making adjustments as needed, etc. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuing education, reviewing professional publications, and involvement in professional societies as required by licensing board.
The Emergency Center was born from the desire to provide a better patient and staff experience. Our goal is to exceed every patient's expectation by providing not only a high level of medical care, but also exceptional, friendly, individualized customer service throughout the entire patient experience. Our company headquarters is in Chandler, AZ, and consists of various departments including accounting, human resources, and practice management. We also own and operate a freestanding emergency center in San Antonio, TX, and are partnered with Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital to provide ER physician and APP staffing for their two hospitals and 12 satellite EDs. The Emergency Center is a drug and nicotine-free workplace, and all employees will be required to complete a negative drug screen prior to employment.
