Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Illness/Injury Prevention: Plans and implements a comprehensive athletic injury and illness prevention program for Junior High student athletes. Rehabilitation/Reconditioning: Plans and implements a comprehensive rehabilitation and reconditioning program for injuries and illnesses sustained by Junior High School student athletes. Administration: Coordinates scheduling of athletic physical examinations and screenings. Compiles, maintains, and files all reports, records, and other documents including medical, accident, and treatment records as required for all Junior High School athletes.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Working Conditions:
Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures and data; coordinate district functions; maintain emotional control under stress. Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; Working prolonged and irregular hours; Occasional lifting/carrying 15-44 pounds. Outdoor and indoor work; exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather
