About

Mobility Technician The Mobility Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of transportation vehicles within the dealership. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and mobility equipment to support uninterrupted operations. The technician will work closely with the service manager and General Manager to implement preventative maintenance schedules and respond promptly to repair needs. By maintaining high standards of vehicle performance, the Mobility Technician directly contributes to operational productivity and safety compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can adapt to evolving technologies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards. Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles and mobility equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and system checks to prevent breakdowns. Collaborate with management to document maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts inventory, and service reports to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience working with transportation or dealership vehicles. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports. Proficient in CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in specialized vehicle systems such as diesel engines or hybrid technology. Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment and fleet management software. Prior experience in a transportation or warehousing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification is required to demonstrate proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair. Fabrication and customization experience. Ability to diagnose, repair and recommend additional services.
