About

Radiology Technologist Assistant The Radiology Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, and Nuclear Medicine technologists with patient care both directly and indirectly. The technologist assistant performs a variety of duties related to expediting patients throughout the department and hospital as needed. Duties may include patient preparation, patient transporting, order verification & clarification, scheduling, ordering and stocking of supplies, obtaining films from other facilities and data input into the RIS and/or PACs operating system. This position has access to confidential information. Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Must successfully obtain registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and a current state license applicable to their work site within 90 days of graduation. In the event this does not occur, employment will be terminated.
