About
Consult patients with the GI Physicians to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients for both inpatient and outpatient services. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation. Provide patient education on various gastrointestinal conditions and promote preventive measures. Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using medical record systems. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Requirements/Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years acute inpatient experience NY Nurse Practitioner License Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, master level DEA License 3 years of experience in gastroenterology (preferred) or at least 3 years as an Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner Current BLS & ACLS certification Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
Full - Time (Regular) Shift: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm #WyckoffHP
