Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty. Identifying treatment options. Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs. Teaching patients how to make sounds while improving their voices and maintaining fluency. Helping individuals improve sentence structure and vocabulary used in written and oral language. Working with children in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow. Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with swallowing and communication disorders. Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program. Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.

Qualifications What You Bring to Refuah:
Current NYS Speech/Language Therapy License. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform a variety of clinical procedures relevant to practice area. Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with others and works effectively to solve problems. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. Ability to use basic electronic data entry and retrieval systems. Outpatient experienced preferred. Eligible to Work in the US
