About
Graduate of Medical Assistant (MA), Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education required Knowledge of basic pharmacology required Previous clinical experience in a medical setting highly preferred Knowledge of substance-use disorder and how it impacts an individual and their family highly preferred
Certification Must be certified by the appropriate accredited certifying body (QMA, EMT, CNA, MA, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician) in the State of Indiana, or be enrolled in a program to become qualified within 6 months of the start of employment. Other Requirements
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting Must be able to demonstrate the effective use of Aspire's Electronic Health Record (EHR) Ability to be flexible with work schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, evenings, and night shifts
Drug screen, TB test and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees.
