My client creates AI-driven services using large language models (LLMs), blending in-house components (30%) with third-party AI APIs and platforms (70%). Youll work with Cursor integrated with Claude models, navigating a sophisticated AI ecosystem that brings technical depth and invites innovative problem-solving. Training provided on AI-powered documentation tools (AI Scribe). Their platform consists of multiple interconnected systems. Senior Engineer with strong back-end experience, this role is 80% backend. You'll bring proven experience building systems from the ground up and owning delivery from initial concept through implementation and rollout. This role requires more than contributing to existing platforms or adding incremental features; you will be responsible for shaping and developing complete, cohesive solutions, with a strong understanding of how components interact across the full stack. Hybrid - Dublin City 2-3 days a week. Up to €100k with bonus Essential Skill-Set 2+ years minimum working as a Senior Engineer 5+ years with Node.js in production backend systems 1+ years with NestJS 3+ years in API Development must have built and integrated REST APIs, working on platforms exposing REST APIs (Node.js backends) with frontends consuming them 3+ years in Test Automation ideally using Jest or Playwright 2+ years implementing web-based solutions in AWS using S3 and Lambda Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Proven track record of influencing the team around you and architecture decisions, mentoring others, and working collaboratively in a technology-driven environment. Highly Advantageous (Nice-to-Have) Fastify Kubernetes (AWS EKS) in production Frontend experience with Angular, React, or Vue Python experience Databases: designing efficient schemas and optimising SQL queries (PostgreSQL preferred; MySQL/SQLite accepted) AI scribe applications or AI-powered transcription/summarisation tools Redis, Python, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Docker, Argo CD, Bunnyshell, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana Benefits: bonus
