Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting personalized treatment plans Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in partnership with physicians or autonomously (per credentialing guidelines) Informing patients and families about preventive measures, wellness strategies, and managing health conditions Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment modalities within your defined scope Engaging in chronic care management and follow-up with patients Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery Accurately documenting patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a commitment to obtain within 90 days) Qualities That Make You Stand Out
