Speech Language Pathologist The Speech Pathologist participates as a member of the health care team working with professional non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients addressing the age of the patients served. Offering a 4,000 Sign-on Bonus and/or Relocation Allowance for qualified applicants Minimum Qualifications:
Long-term care experience 1 year experience as a speech therapist Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist Current BLS CPR certification (Must be through the American Heart Association) Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy Ability to implement practical application of knowledge Ability to function independently and autonomously Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English Ability to teach and instruct patient family and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months to one year home health experience
