About

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Manager will support growth across the organization’s diverse channels, including outdoor, farm and agriculture, work, and national retail. This role partners closely with the VP of Sales, Territory Managers, and Sales Agencies to support account meetings, line reviews, trade shows, and sell-in/sell-through analysis. They will oversee wholesale account relationships and lead brand representation at regional and select national trade shows. The ideal candidate brings a mix of wholesale sales experience, sales operations discipline, and strong analytical skills to optimize product assortments and maximize revenue.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support wholesale revenue growth across regional and national retail accounts.
Identify opportunities to expand marketplace presence while supporting the VP of Sales and agency partners on account development.
Work with Territory Manager & Sales Agencies to present seasonal & core collections directly to retail buyers.
Negotiate volume pricing, terms, and shipping windows.
Analytical Data & Manipulation
Build and maintain data models to track weekly, monthly, and yearly sales performance.
Clean-up, manipulate, and interpret raw inventory metrics to forecast seasonal sell in.
Analyze sell-through data to recommend optimized product assortments.
Synthesize market trends into product assortments and merchandised programs.
Generate monthly reports for executive leadership teams.
Manage Elastic Suite B2B catalog responsibilities, including catalog-management support and product information updates.
Trade Show & Event Support
Coordinate and support booth logistics for major footwear trade shows.
Manage trade show booth activity and attend key account line showings and business meetings.
Lead on-site setup and visual merchandising of product samples.
Gather field intelligence on competitor products and pricing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in footwear or apparel wholesale sales
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data cleaning) and comfort working with exported sales and inventory data.
Ability to travel up to 30% for trade shows and account visits.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
LOCATION Based in Portland, OR with approximately 30% travel for trade shows and account visits.
