Job Full Description Pharmacist - $110,000 - $130,000 BOEMonday - Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm in Old North Columbus The STAFF PHARMACIST position for CDI which is fully owned and operated by our client, is looking for a full-time staff pharmacist. This division works closely with developmentally disabled clients in group home settings and intermediate care facilities and also drug and rehabilitation facilities. We are willing to train and does not have to have long term care facility background.
Job Responsibilities:
Answering any pharmacy related questions from patients, clients, caregivers, health care professional or employees. Assist walk-in and phone in customers with prescription filling and pharmacy related over-the-counter medication needs. Process prescriptions via pioneer RX computer system. Count, fill, label, package, check and dispense prescriptions to customers Counsel patients regarding directions and potential drug interactions. Complete and facilitate MTMs and CMRs. Must have excellent communication skills and able to manage pharmacy technicians. Immunization certified and willing to administer immunizations Assist in day to day pharmacy operations and inventory management Retail experience preferred and compounding experience is welcome, but not mandatory Must have an OHIO pharmacist license in good standing
The following items are beneficial if you have experience, however, it is not necessary and once again, willing to train: -Proficient at verifying prescriptions accurately -Great communication with nurses, caregivers, physicians and other health professionals -Willingness to work and communicate with all departments in the Crosby's company to
Help coordinate supplies, durable medical equipment, deliveries and more -Technician education-willingness to coach, manage and teach technicians -Familiarity with MAR's (medication administration records) and PO's (physician orders)
Is a plus -MTM (medication therapy management) and navigating complex patient profiles -A "self-starter" and problem solver.
