Dental Assistant (DA) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) team in California. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment. This role supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with California regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience
Qualifications:
Active California Dental Assistant certification (as required by state law) X-ray certification (California compliant) CPR/BLS certification Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
