Conduct assessments on patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standardized techniques and clinical observations. Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to both immediate achievements and comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver targeted therapy services aimed at enhancing communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice production, and swallowing capabilities. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and families to develop unified care strategies. Empower patients and their families with knowledge to foster progress beyond therapy sessions. Be instrumental in performing occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Sustain clear and accurate documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards. Commit to ongoing professional growth by remaining informed about advancements in the field through education and peer engagement. Education
Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
