Schedule 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (day shift) Weekend, overnight, and holiday call required
Requirements - Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or CCI (RCIS) - Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization (left/right heart cath, PCI, stent placement) - Proficiency in vascular access, sheath removal, and vascular closure systems - Familiarity with pacemaker/ICD procedures and lead management - Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz), IABP/Impella exposure - Ability to monitor/manage procedural sedation and emergency medications - Understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique - Skills in starting/maintaining IVs, and 12-lead ECG acquisition - Proficient in Epic charting system
Roles & Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. - Assist in the management of procedural sedation and emergency medications. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. - Monitor hemodynamic status throughout procedures. - Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain sterile technique.
