About
Evaluate patients in pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized tests and observational strategies. Craft tailored treatment plans targeting immediate and long-term goals for communication, cognitive skills, and swallowing abilities. Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication, language enhancement, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish effective care strategies. Provide education for patients and families to encourage progress outside the therapy room. Conduct occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure smooth continuity of care. Document patient progress accurately and on time in accordance with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Engage in professional development through continuing education and peer interaction. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Certifications
State licensure for the role of Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-employment. Skills
