Job DescriptionNow accepting new graduates!What you will be doing: The primary purpose of this position is to administer general nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of the healthcare provider.
Prepare patients for examinations, including preliminary physical tests and interviews.
Handle chart preparation and point-of-care testing.
Administer medications and injections, and collect lab specimens.
Complete prior authorizations for diagnostic testing and medications.
Ensure proper follow-up and communication to avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
Manage clinical supplies, stock, and exam rooms.
Assist in office treatments and examinations.
Deliver top-notch customer service for a positive patient experience.
Additional duties as assigned by management. Education And ExperienceNew York State LPN license in good standing required, new graduates will also be considered.
Proven work experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes, CPR Certification, and strong clinical skills preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with computer proficiency.
