Maintaining customer files in servers and reports Formal quote presentation Entry and maintenance of data in QEP/VISUAL/CRM/SAP Create quotes following appropriate guidelines and seek required approvals Manage required documentation such as RFQ's and SOW's Execute export compliance guidelines Direct and collaborative communication with internal/external customers
Receives, processes, distributes and maintains files for all new purchase orders. Responsible for review of confirmation of purchase order terms, assignment of serial number, scheduling of design release meetings, order entry into Visual/SAP, down payment processing (progress invoices) and shipment notice. Releasing of order and issue change notification updates, following departmental and ISO guidelines. Maintains high level of customer satisfaction as a point of contact for customers and external sales staff. Must exhibit professional communication via email, telephone and web and social media. Researches and resolves inquiries from other departments regarding quotations, purchase orders, job releases, change notices, and/or other miscellaneous items Provide "point of contact" support for sales-related matters to the field sales team Generate quotation, production order, invoices and commission statement. Saving pack list into Custom job files. Additional responsibilities as determined by the Inside Sales Manager or Sales Director Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with other departments regarding order management. Departments to include external sales, production, engineering, test, traffic, etc. Will set up schedule of Shared activities such as processing incoming RFQ's, forwarding sales leads to field sales, logging invoices info in Access data base for use shipping and commission reports and emailing invoice to customer with shipping notice. Possess a high degree of attention to details and accuracy High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred Prior experience in customer service; or other equivalent relevant work experience preferred Excellent phone etiquette skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; command of English language both verbal and written Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work with minimal supervision. Self-starter. Ability to effectively work independently and as a team member Previous experience with SAP, CRM, VISUAL, QEP preferred Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point Excellent Math skills preferred Initiative in applying problem solving skills preferred Ability to organize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines Mechanical and technical aptitude preferred Punctual and dependable Professional attire/appearance in accordance with corporate dress code policy Mostly stationary work with occasional movement throughout the facility to access files, chambers, office machinery, etc. Works at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Employee must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting. Periodic travel may be involved. When traveling, significant portions of travel time (both car and air) may involve extended sedentary periods. Subject to weather and adverse driving conditions when outside. Direct Reports: NO Non-exempt/Full Time/40 hours a week
