About
Type: Full-time ( Remote / Hybrid) Team: AI / Machine Learning
About the role
We build computer vision systems that run in live production, where models have to hold up under real conditions and real usage. We're looking for a machine learning engineer to join the team and work closely with our other ML and Robotics engineers. It's a hands-on job. You'll spend your time getting models to work in production, not just on a benchmark.
What you'll do
Train, fine-tune, and evaluate computer vision models. Improve the data side of the pipeline: curating datasets, catching quality problems, and building the checks that keep accuracy up. Get models from a working experiment into production, then keep them running and monitored. Build the tooling around the models, including monitoring, evaluation, and automation. Keep an eye on the cost and performance of our ML infrastructure and improve both. Track down why a model is misbehaving in production, find the root cause, and fix it so it stays fixed.
What we're looking for
Around 2 to 3 years building and shipping ML systems. Strong Python and real fluency in a deep learning framework.
A working grasp of computer vision fundamentals. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and containerized workflows. A data-first instinct.
Enough drive and judgment to take a problem and own it as you grow into the role. Comfortable working with a distributed team and writing things down clearly
Nice to have
You've taken models to production before and kept them healthy over time. You know your way around MLOps: pipeline automation, model versioning, monitoring. You've worked with large, messy datasets from the real world. You've optimized cloud cost and performance.
