About
Full training will be given and with the support of ongoing training and development, you will provide telephone technical support on our full range ofHigh Drive machines across the UK
*Please note that this role will be suited to someone with strong customer service skills with a mechanical or engineering background*
*Duties*
* To receive and log breakdown and assistance requests from our customers and offer phone support on our hire fleet at first point of contact.
* To direct our mobile service engineers to site breakdowns and provide information via our internal recording system.
* Assess information from service calls.
* Gather information from service calls, customer assistance requests, depot engineers and manufacturers of the machinery in our hire fleet.
* Use information to create internal bulletins with the aim of reducing and elimination of call outs and breakdowns.
* To create, maintain and update procedures within the technical support department.
* To create update and monitor internal and external bulletins and communicate these to all service engineers within the company.

* Excellent communication skills
* Calm under pressure
* Have an interest in machinery and a willingness to learn about our machinery
* Customer focused.
* Strong PC skills
* Highly organised
* Good team player
* Previous experience in a customer support role beneficial
* Full and ongoing training will be provided throughout.
* Have an engineering or mechanical backround preferred
* Possiblly previously worked in parts or a breakdown service
* Ideally living within a short commute (30 mins) of Astley (M29 7JY)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
