Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (within your credentialing) Teaching patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness options, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions consistent with the scope of practice Participating in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management Working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-focused care Maintaining precise and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications You'll Need
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Mexico National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days) Your Unique Attributes
