What it's like to be a Nurse At Legacy Living Defiance As a Nurse at Legacy Living Defiance, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents by setting up, administering, and accurately recording prescribed medications. You will coordinate both patient care and non-patient care activities by developing and distributing clear nursing assignments for each unit employee, ensuring that the unique needs of residents align with the skills of our dedicated staff. Your responsibilities will include verifying physician orders against medication forms, maintaining the cleanliness and proper storage of medications, and upholding a tidy working environment. Additionally, you will administer vital signs and meticulously document changes in residents’ conditions, ensuring medical records are current and reflective of routine assessments. What we're looking for in a Nurse To excel as a Nurse at Legacy Living Defiance, you must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and commitment to nursing practices. Proficiency in medication administration and the ability to interpret and verify physician orders are essential.
