Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for the majority of a shift. Long periods of standing or walking on hard floors, often for the duration of the shift. Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifting and carrying heavy items (e.g., patients, equipment, and supplies), often up to 50 pounds. Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor manipulation to handle delicate surgical equipment and instruments, operate beds, and manipulate supplies. Good manual dexterity to operate, clean, or move medical equipment. Reaching/Stooping: Frequent stretching, bending, crouching, and reaching to assist the surgical team. Body Mechanics: Moving heavy patients or adjusting equipment like microscopes, Neptune, operating tables, and lights. High-Stress Environment: Fast room turnover working must remain physically capable while working in fast-paced settings with significant distractions.
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $26.92 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
