Answering patient calls and surgery inquiries Patient Counseling under the direction of the office manager and surgeon Verification of surgical benefits and obtaining authorizations Scheduling surgical procedures at our credentialed centers and hospitals Communicating and updating patients on surgery status Reconciliation of deposits and copays for surgery Ensure medical clearance, pre-op and post op instructions are relayed to patient in a timely manner Obtaining proper consents for appropriate surgical procedures Provide updates to surgeon in a timely manner
Requirements:
Minimum one-year medical surgical procedure scheduling experience a plus Clinical experience is a plus Ability to prioritize Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members. EMR experience. Strong computer literacy. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands: Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds.
