About
Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to ensure a safe care environment. Maintain and care for central lines and prevent surgical site infections following policy guidelines. Deliver quality nursing care including medication administration, nursing interventions, and patient and family education. Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, improve quality, and enhance safety. Document all patient care activities and quality monitoring to support clinical decisions and compliance. Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes. Delegate tasks appropriately while fostering teamwork and accountability. Engage with patients and families to enhance their experience and support health outcomes. Apply critical thinking in nursing practice and pursue continuing education to develop skills. Education Graduate of an accredited nursing school is required. Experience One year of nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Requirements
Current RN license in the state or Compact Licensure. Graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Mental and Physical Requirements Requires considerable mental concentration. Physical activities include lifting up to 35 lbs., turning, standing, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, reaching, and frequent walking. Working Conditions Frequent exposure to infectious and communicable diseases through blood and bodily fluids. Occasional encounters with hostile individuals may occur.
