About
Is a role model for the Hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort, i.e. demonstrates AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates and colleagues.
Responsible for assuring safe equipment operation before attempting any radiology procedure. Troubleshoots equipment, reports all equipment downtime and malfunctions to the shift supervisor and cooperates with service personnel for repair. Regularly monitors all equipment and performs QA checks.
Transports patients to the MRI department utilizing safe equipment transportation protocols.
Demonstrates good customer service skills by greeting the patient, introducing himself/herself, explaining the procedure and following up on all reasonable customer requests.
Transfers patients to the MRI table or transportation device utilizing proper body mechanics, appropriate equipment and safe patient handling methods. Demonstrates the ability to implement appropriate safeguards for patients or customers of various age groups.
Job Requirements
Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology.
One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting or one year experience as a MRI Technologist.
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging or ARMRIT MRI
