Requirements Qualifications: Delaware mandates that PAs complete a degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The state does not recognize degrees from non-accredited institutions, making it essential for students to verify accreditation before enrollment. Graduate of an accredited PA program and pass the NCCPA certification exam. Must have a bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies or a related field.
State License
Maintenance of NCCPA certification will meet the CME requirement for renewal of licensure ,
for writing of prescriptions: PA number required on prescriptions, Federal DEA number to write for controlled substances and State Controlled Substance number
