Shift: Day Shift, 12 Hour Start Date: 05/20/2026 Job Description As a Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology (IR), you will operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and various cardiac equipment within a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, assisting during procedures, preparing rooms and equipment, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. You will act as a liaison to radiation safety officers and assist with image preparation, documentation, and equipment maintenance. The role requires proficiency in patient care, technical operation of radiologic equipment, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Flexibility to work various schedules including on call, weekends, and holidays is essential. Qualifications
Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Bachelor's preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience as an allied health professional Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice and registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
KSA's:
Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to perform complex, potentially hazardous tasks Ability to learn new procedures quickly Knowledge of federal, state, and local radiation safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with diverse patient populations Flexibility to work shifts during holidays, weekends, and on call as required
Physical and Environmental Demands:
Medium Work: exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently Ability to stand or walk for extended periods Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials Working in patient care settings with potential occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous waste
