Experience and Skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for an employee to successfully perform their duties. - High School Diploma or equivalent, GED. - Completion of NVIH sponsored 8-hour Infection Control Course; 6 hours didactic, 2 hours lab training within 90 days of start. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Maintain radiation safety certification or completion of an approved radiation safety course to be completed within the Introductory Period at hire. - Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications and instruments used during dental procedures. - Knowledge of patient scheduling procedures. - Ability to multitask, frequently adjusting and prioritizing duties. - Ability to think critically and engage in solution-based problem-solving actions, considering all relevant details. - Proven ability to engage in team collaboration and demonstrates a caring and compassionate commitment to the patient and their unique circumstances. - Proven ability to provide excellent customer service by anticipating customer needs and leaving them feeling satisfied with their experience. - Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. - Reliable transportation and the ability to adhere to regular attendance.
