divh2Shift Manager/h2pCarlisle - 510 Central Ave - Carlisle, OH 45005/ph3Overview/h3pSalary Range $14.55 Hourly/ph3Description/h3pA Shift Manager primarily supervises and engages in preparing food, performs administrative duties, ensures quality customer service, and is in control of all costs (Food, Miscellaneous, Labor and Cash) in an assigned unit./ppEducation/ppHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required./ppRequirements/pulliMust be 18 years of age in stores WITHOUT DRAFT BEER; 19 Years of age or older in stores that serve draft beer./liliMust have cash handling, food handling, and customer service experience./liliMust have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction./liliMust have knowledge of basic math and computer skills./liliMust have knowledge of the English language, including the meaning of words and grammar./liliMust have knowledge of management principles involved in resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources./li/ulpAbilities/pulliAbility to work at a fast pace./liliAbility to partake in various forms of training./liliAbility to pass required tests./liliAbility to read and understand rules and instructions./liliAbility to reach, see, talk, hear, stand, and walk quickly for a minimum of 8 hours a day./liliRequires walking or standing to a significant degree. Must be able to stand at a table height of 34 45 for 6 hours at a time./liliAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds at various times./liliAbility to read maps or find a specified route using other mapping resources./li/ulpEssential Functions/pulliAssigns duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements./liliConducts on-the-job training for personnel in food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety procedures./liliInspects supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards./liliCollects payment from customers and calculates monetary exchange./liliInvestigates customer complaints./liliResolves customer or public complaints./liliDirects, prepares and coordinates food or beverage preparation./liliProvides and portrays proper and professional customer service./liliResolves or assists workers to resolve work problems./liliSupervises and checks the assembly of food products./liliAnswers customer questions and concerns regarding Company products and services./liliCompiles and balances cash receipts at the end of the day or shift./liliListens to oral instructions from the Unit Manager to determine work assignment./liliPerforms all opening or closing procedures and responsibilities directed by the General and Assistant Managers./liliPerforms all administrative duties, which includes completing prep and dough proofing sheets./liliPerforms all store banking procedures, which includes opening and closing audits, cash register procedures, and bank deposits./liliDemonstrates professionalism, proper customer service, proper food preparation techniques, and proper sales techniques./liliArrives promptly to work each scheduled day in proper uniform./liliEnsures all safety policies and procedures are being followed./liliDisciplines Crew Members and Drivers after any violation of company policy or procedure./liliReceives, rotates, stocks and stores supplies./li/ulpAdditional Responsibilities/pulliPerforms all Crew Member essential functions when needed./liliLearns and performs other positions as needed./liliUses professional and proper oral and written communication techniques./liliUses knowledge of food handling rules./liliUnderstands and applies Company, along with government, food service regulations and Minor Labor Law guidelines./liliMay NOT leave the store, at any time, in the hands of a Crew Member or a Driver.
