Title: Road Freight Forwarder Location: Shannon Type: Full-time, Permanent Package: Competitive salary, Pension We are currently seeking a Road Freight Forwarder to join a busy logistics and transport operation based in Shannon. This role will involve coordinating domestic and international road freight shipments, liaising with customers and hauliers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day transport operations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate domestic and international road freight shipments Arrange collections, deliveries, and transport scheduling Liaise with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation Track shipments and resolve operational issues efficiently Ensure compliance with transport and customs regulations Maintain accurate records, reporting, and customer updates Provide high levels of customer service throughout the shipment process Requirements & Qualifications 12 years experience within freight forwarding, transport, or logistics Experience coordinating road freight shipments Knowledge of customs and transport documentation Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team For a confidential conversation about this opportunity or others in the market, please contact Nicola Murphy.
