About
Mechanical Design Engineer This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys working within a contractor-led Design & Build environment and wants to see their designs successfully delivered on site. You will be involved from initial concept and design development through to live delivery and handover, working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure designs are technically robust, commercially practical, and fully buildable within live project environments. Projects are primarily commercial office fit-out and refurbishment schemes across Central London. Requirements Experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer within Building Services Strong commercial project experience, ideally office fit-out or refurbishment Experience working within a Design & Build or contractor-led environment Ability to produce practical, buildable mechanical designs suited to fast-paced project delivery Good technical understanding of mechanical building services systems Experience using AutoCAD and ideally Revit/BIM software Strong communication and coordination skills Stable career history demonstrating reliability and commitment This role is particularly suited to engineers with commercial or fit-out project experience. Candidates whose background is primarily within residential or developer-led projects are unlikely to be a strong match. Remuneration Package
