From VTO we are looking for a Backend Developer to carry out the following responsibilities: Develop software applications according to business requirements and specifications. Analyze requirements for the design of the technical solution, and elaboration of proposals for validation by the management team. Ensure the quality of the assigned developments through unit tests, debugging of errors, and peer review. Deliver well-structured, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with a multifunctional team, including frontend developers, UX/UI engineers, project managers, etc. Work closely with the infrastructure and operations division for the correct deployment of deliverables. Provide technical advice, finding the best solutions to the business problems that arise. Interact with internal teams of other departments and external suppliers. Validate deliverables received from the internal development team or external collaborators. Participate in the continuous improvement of tasks related to project development. Ensure cost and schedule compliance of assigned tasks. Requirements
What do we need from you? Higher studies in computer engineering, software development, telecommunications or similar. Proven experience in handling back-end development solutions like SPRINGBOOT, JPA, HIBERNATE, LIQUIBASE and JASPER REPORTS and web design patterns like AJAX, RESTful APIs and Microservices. Minimum 2 years experience as an analyst/programmer of software applications. Knowledge in Cloud-oriented solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Knowledge of architecture patterns and good practices for the design of a modular, scalable and secure system. Experience in the use of version control software (SVN, Github and/or Bitbucket). Previous experience in the development and/or maintenance of ERPs. Valuable previous experience in IT consultancy. Training and experience in handling databases (Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL). Knowledge in document management systems and/or Business Intelligence. Knowledge in test automation technologies (SonarQube, Playwrigth, etc). Knowledge of frontend solutions, like ANGULAR, JAVASCRIPT with TYPESCRIPT and BOOTSTRAP. Knowledge of agile methodologies, like SCRUM. Fluency in Spanish and English spoken and written. Additional Information
