This fully remote role requires a local presence within the Illinois surrounding area to allow for onsite visits at customer sites and is not eligible for relocation. Key Responsibilities
Drive business growth by selling solutions across segment customers and meet required sales/revenue targets. Identify and develop a robust pipeline of prospective customers and build a professional network within the industry. Conduct market research to uncover value drivers and effectively communicate accurate and timely market updates to multiple levels of management. Actively participate in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events, and campaigns. Communicate and effectively present Axalta solutions to key decision-makers at prospective companies. Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver results. Maintain accurate account information and contact data in Salesforce (SFDC). Qualifications
Experienced sales professional with an Automotive Refinish background and a strong track record of successful customer support. Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in the Automotive Refinish industry. 5+ years of direct-selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals. Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier clients is preferred. Strong business development and prospecting skills with the ability to acquire new clients quickly. Strong knowledge of collision repair, commercial transportation, and industrial business environments as well as repair shop and distribution fundamentals. Effective written and oral communication skills. Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Strong work ethic and self-discipline. Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
