The Role: Sales Development Representative We've got an incredible product and more inbound leads than we can handle400+ every single day. That's where you come in. As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for aspiring authors who've opted into our resources. Your job? Learn their story, understand their goals, and set up meaningful consults with our Publishing Strategists to guide them forward. In addition to your day-to-day outreach, you'll also represent selfpublishing.com at live eventstraveling to 24 events per month to connect with attendees, share our mission from stage, and introduce new aspiring authors to our programs. If you love speaking to large audiences, enjoy traveling, and get energized by being the face of a powerful brandthis role is for you. (Brownie points if you've spoken at live events before!) This is a high-impact, high-growth role where your hustle = real results. What You'll Do Make outbound calls to warm, qualified leads (no cold calls!) Have real conversations with purpose-driven people Discover each prospect's goals, challenges, and current stage Set high-quality, no-cost strategy calls with our Publishing team Represent selfpublishing.com at live events (24 per month) Speak confidently on stage, sharing our mission and services Collaborate with a fast-moving team, give feedback, and help build a world-class sales organization This Role Is For You If... You're the top sales rep (or on your way there) You love helping people and challenging them to be their best You're insanely driven, self-motivated, and action-oriented You believe in personal growth and love learning new skills You're comfortable speaking in front of large audiences You enjoy traveling and thrive in high-energy environments You want to sell a product that actually changes lives You live within 30 minutes of Austin Please note: Travel is required for this role (24 events per month). If you're not interested in or comfortable with travel and live event environments, this may not be the right fit.
