How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Execute high-resolution diagnostic scans by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to capture the cross-sectional images essential for accurate treatment.
- Empower patients through the imaging process by providing clear education and thorough pre-screening, ensuring they feel informed, safe, and prepared for their exam.
- Manage the full lifecycle of diagnostic data—from meticulous entry to PACS transmission—to guarantee the medical team has immediate access to high-quality, life-saving information.
- Maintain a high-performance clinical environment by proactively monitoring equipment health and upholding rigorous safety standards to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
